Not allowed on any Baremont service
- Anything illegal under Indian law or the law of the country where the server is located.
- Sexual content involving minors, in any form. We report it to the authorities.
- Sending spam or unsolicited bulk email, or hosting sites advertised by spam.
- Phishing, fraud, or impersonating other people or organisations.
- Malware, botnets, command-and-control servers, or distributing hacking tools for misuse.
- Attacks on other networks, including denial-of-service attacks, port scans and brute-force login attempts.
- Open proxies, open mail relays or open DNS resolvers that others can abuse.
- Content that infringes copyright, trademarks or other rights.
- Cryptocurrency mining on VPS and cloud plans with shared vCPU.
Fair use of shared resources
VPS plans share physical hosts. A server that uses so much CPU, disk or network that it slows down its neighbours may be limited. We tell you first, unless the problem is urgent.
What happens if the policy is broken
- We may suspend the service at once when there is a risk to our network, other customers or third parties.
- Otherwise we contact you first and give you time to fix the problem.
- Repeated or serious breaches lead to termination without refund.
Reporting abuse
Report abuse coming from a Baremont IP address to [email protected] with the IP address, the time and any logs. We act on every report.
